Did you know that almost two-thirds of Australians (62%)* feel they must hide part of their identity when at work? Employers therefore have significant work to do in creating safe, diverse and inclusive environments in which all employees feel comfortable to be their true selves at work.

In collaboration with YouGov, Indeed has carried out one of the most comprehensive studies into diversity and inclusion issues within Australian workplaces and the findings are eye-opening. The research, encapsulated in our latest report, Smoke and Mirrors: The state of diversity, inclusion and belonging in Australian workplaces, revealed a substantial disconnect between Australian workers’ perception of how minority groups are treated in the workplace, and the lived experience of these groups.
